Pseudomorph TSNB483

A radiating group of elongated tabular azurite crystals, completely altered to malachite, decorated with aggregates of both calcite and cerussite crystals, many of which are coloured red by inclusions of microcrystalline cuprite (var. chalcotrichite). Fibrous crystals of non-pseudomorphous malachite are present between the pseudomorphs, with minor conichalcite-duftite associated (visually identified).
