Description

A large (96 mm), terminated blade of honey-coloured cerussite, with smaller twinned "sidecar" crystals at one end. The colour of the cerussite is unusual.  A little residual sulphide material is present on the reverse side of the specimen.
This was specimen 317 in the collection of Clement Victor Latz, which was donated to the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources (now Geoscience Australia) in 1976. There is no record of earlier provenance or location in the mine.
