Description

An incomplete open sixling of colourless-white, glassy, cerussite, with localised inclusions of relict sulphide and a little corroded sulphide matrix. The arms of the sixling are quite stout, but with slender sidecar crystals forming the beginnings of a reticulated twinning network.

Formerly specimen number 219 in the Reverend A.E. Gardner Collection, which was purchased by the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources (now Geoscience Australia) in 1974. There is no record of earlier provenance or location in the mine.
