Colourless to smoky cerussite forming a reticulated (twinned) network. Some relict sulphide inclusions are evident in the cerussite crystals and probably account for the smokiness. The front and rear faces of the specimen are essentially parallel.
Formerly number 218 in the Reverend A.E. Gardner Collection, which was purchased by the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources (now Geoscience Australia) in 1974. There is no record of earlier provenance or location in the mine.
