Description

A large single (but incomplete), composite crystal of transparent, colourless cerussite, lent a slight smokiness by the minor, localised presence of inclusions – presumably of relict sulphides (?) – concentrated particularly on planar defects in the crystal.

The size and clarity of the crystal are remarkable.

The specimen was acquired from dealer Charlie Key, but with no record of location in the mine.
