Description
A large and aesthetic calcite specimen comprising two crystal groups of intergrown (composite) crystals on a matrix of dark, altered dolostone. The larger group consists of a stepped, parallel growth of colourless, gemmy calcite rhombs. This is complemented by a second, smaller, group of stepped rhombs coloured a delicate orange red by inclusions of hematite (?).
