Description

A large aggregate of stepped rhombohedral crystals, mainly colourless, but with some crystals tinged reddish-brown by included iron oxides, presumably hematite (?).

The specimen was purchased in Namibia by Australian collector Clement Victor Latz in the early 1970s. The Latz Collection was donated to the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources (now Geoscience Australia) in 1976.
