A plate of sharp, intergrown, octahedral crystals (to c. 3 mm) of metallic, reddish-grey cuprite, partly overgrown by a crimson-red mat of fibrous crystals of cuprite (v. chalcotrichite).
The specimen is in the collection of Sharon and Eugene Cisneros.
