Description

A specimen of massive cuprite ore with free-formed crystals (to 7 mm) on one surface. The dominant form on the cuprite crystals is the cube {100}.


The specimen was formerly in the collection of Bill Pinch (Exhibit 3) who’s label records its location in the mine as 44 Level (in the third oxidation zone).
