Description
A matrix of reddish-black massive cuprite hosts an ovoid vug lined with sharp, dodecahedral micro crystals of dark red cuprite. A later crystallisation of white calcite has partly filled the vug, with the calcite showing a reddish-pink tint at its margins, presumably due to minute cuprite inclusions.
The specimen is in the collection of Sharon and Eugene Cisneros.
