Description

A loose intergrowth of sharp white pseudo-hexagonal trillings (to 15 mm) of aragonite a little sulphide matrix consisting mainly of tennantite on which tiny rhombohedral crystals of colourless dolomite, microcrystals of quartz and sparse sprays of malachite are also present.

The specimen has not been analysed, but the density and habit of the aragonite are consistent with the lead-bearing variety tarnowitzite.

The specimen is in the collection of Sharon and Eugene Cisneros.
