Description
Free-standing crystals of transparent, colourless aragonite crystals (to 25 mm) on a saddle-shaped plate of crystallised off-white dolomite, the display face of which is coloured brownish-red with hematite (?) and sparsely peppered with tiny groups of botryoidal malachite.
The specimen was purchased from Ian Bruce in 2010. It was formerly in the collection of Dirk Rheinlander (California). The location in the mine is not recorded.
