Description
A shard of silicified dolostone encrusted with botryoids of colourless-grey willemite. The botryoids comprise radiating acicular crystals with highly lustrous colourless terminations. A few small sprays of free-standing willemite crystals are present in cavities in the matrix.
This was specimen number 464 in the collection of Clement Victor Latz, which was donated to the Australian Bureau of Mineral Resources in 1976. There is no record of earlier provenance or of location in the mine.
