Willemite (w. tsumcorite)

Waxy yellow tsumcorite crystals sparingly distributed on a botryoidal crust of pale blue willemite over a shard of altered carbonate matrix. The radial structure of the willemite spherules is clearly seen in some of the broken surfaces.

The location in the mine is not recorded but the specimen is almost certainly from the second oxidation zone and probably from a relatively large pocket, given that this paragenesis and habit is well represented in many private and public collections.
