Description

Several generations of willemite crystals on an altered carbonate matrix that includes a little conichalcite-duftite (visually identified). The willemite ranges from colourless, to very pale green and brown (where it rests on a septum of goethite in the centre of the display face). The willemite is overgrown locally by a rich scatter of snow-white dolomite crystal aggregates (to 2 mm).

The specimen was purchased by Mark Feinglos from British dealer Richard Barstow in 1979. The location in the mine is not recorded.
