Description
Stout prismatic, composite crystals of mimetite (to 18 mm) with flat (pinacoid) and slightly cavernous (hollow) terminations. The crystals range in colour from yellowish-orange at the base to reddish-brown at the terminations, possibly due to the presence of hematite (?) inclusions.
The display label attributes the specimen to 9 Level in the first oxidation zone.
