Description

A matrix-free aggregate of randomly orientated tabular wulfenite crystals (to 19 mm). The wulfenite crystals are translucent and are generally tan-coloured, but with a richer butterscotch colour zone at the edges of some of the crystals. A jumble of tapering mimetite prisms, transparent and lemon-yellow in colour, has crystallised in the spaces between the wulfenite blades.

The specimen is in the collection of Sharon and Eugene Cisneros.
