Description
Lustrous metallic crystals of steel-grey chalcocite, free-standing on a chalcocite-rich sulphide matrix encrusted with bright brassy microcrystalline pyrite. The chalcocite crystals (to 6 mm) are well formed with fine striations on some of the faces.
The specimen was formerly in the collction of Uli Bahmann but the location in the mine is not recorded.
