Description

A shard of massive sulphide with a little quartz, hosting typical cleaved aggregates of platy, pearlescent, off-white to biscuit-coloured leiteite.  A little amber-brown siderite and a single radial spray (2 mm) of orange-bronze ludlockite (visible at bottom centre in Exhibit 3) are also present.
The specimen was collected by TCL mineralogist John Innes on 29 Level in the second oxidation zone and acquired from him by exchange in early 1984.
