Description

A sculptural cluster of white, rhombohedral smithsonite crystals (to 5 mm) on a dark gossanous matrix which is almost completely obscured by the smithsonite.
The specimen was donated to the New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources by Marty Zin III; it was formerly in the collection of Jim and Dawn Minette (#S046). There is no record of earlier provenance or location in the mine.
