Description

Elongated composite prisms of dark-green olivenite (to 16 mm; EMPA confirmed, Exhibit 2), on quartz with a little malachite. The olivenite is locally gemmy with yellow-green to olive-green transparency.


The specimen was purchased from Charles Gould in 1985. The location in the mine is not recorded.
