Description

Nodular aggregates (to 6 mm) of platy, peudo-hexagonal crystals of beudantite (to 3 mm) on a red, earthy matrix of quartz and hematite.

Mark Feinglos acquired the specimen from Bill Pinch in 1986 who had purchased it from Namibian dealer Sid Pieters (Exhibit 2). Pinch’s label (Exhibit 3) attributes the specimen to 36 Level, West 12 in the second oxidation zone.
