A very dense weakly oxidised sulphide matrix, consisting largely of galena and sphalerite, is thickly encrusted with yellow-brown botryoids of goethite which is locally coated with powdery mustard-yellow mimetite and peppered with isolated pseudo-cubic crystals (to 1.5 mm) of zoned yellow-brown beudantite (Exhibit 2). Sparse crystals of colourless-white to very pale yellow anglesite are also present. All minerals are XRD-verified (Dr Paul Carr; University of Wollongong, Australia; November 2024).

The specimen was purchased from Mark Wrigley in 2009 and was formerly in the Warren Taylor Collection. The location in the mine is not recorded.
