Description

A dense intergrowth of largely sub-parallel fibres of off-white to pale straw-coloured fleischerite overgrowing a crystal of leadhillite.

The specimen is from the Bill Pinch Collection and is believed to have been recovered from the second oxidation zone.

Fleischerite from this specimen provided the Raman standard for the RRUFF database (RRUFF ID R120043) and has been verified by single crystal XRD. Raman and XRD data are available at  https://rruff.info/fleischerite/display=default/
