Description

Loose aggregates of distorted and composite crystals of bottle-green duftite on a crust of salmon-pink smithsonite partly overgrown by white calcite rhombs (to 3 mm). The core of the specimen consists of partly oxidised sulphide. Quantitative EMPA has shown that the duftite is Ca-rich (exhibits 2 and 3).

The specimen was purchased from Wayne Leicht in 2014.
