General Notes

Minute inclusions of kësterite (< 100 µm) have been reported in massive sulphide ore by Joy Désor (Kësterite from Tsumeb Mine (Ongopolo Mine), Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia (mindat.org); accessed December 2022). Kësterite was identified by EDS and Raman spectroscopy. A polished section of this material was offered for auction on e-Rocks in December 2022 (| e-Rocks Mineral Auctions; accessed December 2022) with reported associates including briartite (a Zn-rich variety), chalcocite, tennantite-(Zn), and velikite.
