Specimen TSNB599

A loose intergrowth of lustrous, dark gunmetal-grey schneiderhohnite crystals (to 15 mm), with a little hematite, on a shard of sulphide matrix.

The specimen is from the Pinch Collection (Exhibit 2) and was collected by Tsumeb Corporation mineralogist John Innes on July 20, 1983. Innes' handwritten label (Exhibit 3) indicates that it is from the West 40 Stope on 32 Level in the second oxidation zone.

The MGMH collection includes another specimen from this occurrence; compare with TSNB600.
