General Notes
Plumbojarosite was first recognised and reported from the first oxidation zone, as a component of the type assemblage for fleischerite, where it presents as yellow-brown crystals intergrown with mimetite (Frondel and Strunz 1960).
Keller (1984) noted that plumbojarosite also occurs rarely with the lead silicate (alamosite) paragenesis in the second oxidation zone.
