General Notes
Orlandiite was provisionally identified as part of a rare paragenesis of selenium-bearing minerals comprising munakataite, clausthalite and plumboselite (Flynn et al. 2016). While the composition (by EDS; University of Arizona) was consistent with orlandiite, there was insufficient material for a definitive identification. The paragenesis is believed to be of supergene origin.
Questionable status is retained for orlandiite pending analytical confirmation.
