General Notes
Naumannite was identified by Joy Désor in 2020 using PXRD and standardless EDS. (Joy Désor - New minerals for the Tsumeb mine, Namibia (mindat.org). The naumannite occurs in small amounts in microcrystalline aggregates with chalcocite; microcrystalline adamite and dolomite were also confirmed by PXRD. However, the very small grain size and phase volume of the naumannite leaves room for potential ambiguity in the XRD and EDS results. For this reason, questionable status is retained pending confirmation.
