General Notes

Graphite was listed as occurring in both the first and second oxidation zones by Strunz et al. (1958a). The presence of graphite at Tsumeb was also recorded by Lombaard et al. (1986) who considered its occurrence as "sparse", i.e., widely distributed but in small amounts.


Schluter et al. (2010) listed graphite as a component of the krieselite type assemblage.
