Description

A tabular, pseudohexagonal crystal of orange-brown baryte (16 mm), partly overgrown by sheaves and "bow-ties" of colourless-grey smithsonite.


The specimen was number 385 in the collection of Wilhelm Klein, production manager at Tsumeb between 1916 and 1939. Klein’s handwritten catalogue attributes the specimen to 6 Level West.
