Description

A crystal of colourless-white anglesite with an irregular cavity (7 mm) at one corner, partly filled with bright yellow native sulphur. There is no matrix.


The specimen was acquired from Wilhelm Maucher (of Munich) in 1925 (Exhibit 3). Its vintage dates it unequivocally to the first oxidation zone.
