Entry Type

Specimen TSNB462

A shard of silified dolostone (?) hosts platy crystals of electric-blue lavendulan and poorly developed crusts of an undetermined green mineral. Both sides of the specimen are similarly mineralised.

The specimen is from the collection of Bill Pinch, whose label (Exhibit 2) indicates that the lavendulan (presumably) has been verified by X-ray analysis and that it originated from 36 Level in the second oxidation zone; unfortunately the label provides no information on provenance.
