chalcopyrite (w. dolomite and quartz)

A plate of colourless-white dolomite rhombs intergrown with minor quartz, is peppered with free-standing but sub-hedral crystals of brass-yellow chalcopyrite (to 6 mm).

The specimen is from the Bill Pinch collection, but his label (Exhibit 2) gives no information on either the provenance or the location in the mine.
