Tennantite-(Fe) is named as a matrix component of a specimen in the collection of Walter Veldsman on which Joy Désor identified berthierine in association with ludlockite and leiteite (https://www.mindat.org/photo-1169313.html; accessed December 2023). However, tennantite-(Fe) has not been included in the Mindat list of minerals for Tsumeb; neither has analytical data been provided.
The occurrence of tennantite-(Fe) at Tsumeb is considered questionable pending reliable verification.
