General Notes
Gebhard (1999) reported that scotlandite had been found as pale yellow chisel-shaped crystals (to 1 mm) in cavities in hydrocerussite and associated with litharge, massicot and minium from the so-called "Lead Pocket" on 43 Level in the third oxidation zone. The method by which scotlandite was identified was not mentioned and there is no record of scotlandite in the peer-reviewed literature.
Questionable status is retained for scotlandite pending verification.
