General Notes
Prosopite was identified at Tsumeb by Keller and Innes (1986) who described radial aggregates of water-clear prismatic prosopite crystals (to 2 mm), with chisel-shaped terminations on granular dolomite with quartz and tsumcorite. The discovery was made at West 40 on 32 Level in the second oxidation zone. Keller and Innes (1986) proposed the following sequence:
quartz >> tsumcorite >> siderite >> prosopite
