General Notes
Matlockite was reported by Bowell and Mocke (2018) in association with cerussite and linarite on a specimen in the collection of the Geological Society of Namibia (GSN # 4646) attributed to the north centre area of 35 level in the second oxidation zone. The means of identification was not stated.
Fluorine-containing species are uncommon at Tsumeb and those that have been recorded are very sparsely distributed. Questionable status is retained for matlockite pending verification.
