General Notes

Minute, colourless acicular crystals of hydroxylpyromorphite associated with pale yellow feinglosite, mimetite, and colourless octahedral crystals of senarmontite have been described by Joy Désor (https://www.mindat.org/photo-1132041.html; accessed October 2022). Standardless EDS analysis indicated a molar dominance of P > As for hydroxylpyromorphite, and also indicated the possible presence of an OH analogue of mimetite.

Associated Minerals

feinglosite; galena; mimetite; senarmontite
