According to Söhnge (1964) olivine (composition unspecified) is a component of the kersantite sills and dykes that transgress the upper portion of the Tsumeb ore body.
Lombaard et al. (1986) and Gebhard (1999) considered fayalite "rare" at Tsumeb.
