Dyscrasite is listed as "believed valid" on Mindat, with a photo of a specimen from the collection of Brent Thorne in which dyscrasite is associated with native silver on quartz. The dyscrasite was identified by Joy Désor using EDS (https://www.mindat.org/locentry-957811.html; accessed April 2023).

There is no record of dyscrasite from Tsumeb in the peer-reviewed literature and questionable status is retained pending confirmation on a specimen of unequivocal Tsumeb provenance.
